I'm finally picking up an Orange OR15H head - can no longer talk myself out of it.  Even coming from my 5150 combo's formidable 60 6L6 sourced watts and all that thick/chunky distortion and sustain, the small 15W OR delivers in spades.  Sure, it doesn't have a clean channel, but at the price I'm paying, I have money to buy a whole dedicated clean amp.  I love the big, spacious, crunchy wall of mids, solid low end, and amount of detail.  Through a 4x12" it moves plenty of air and gets plenty boisterous for me.  More than enough for gigging. 

My default cab is usually a Marshall 1960B straight cab, loaded with Celestion G12T-75's.  I like that, but curious to get other recommendations.  I'm eyeing an Avatar Contemporary 412 w/ Eminence Texas Heats.  I know if I got this, 2 of them would be swapped, most likely for EVM12L's.

I prefer GB speakers with mine. Have tried a Veteran 30 and a K100 also.

You haven't heard the OR15 at its best unless its through a 412. I run mine through a EVH 412 now. Good gawd does it sound good. YMMV

OR 15 heads love a 4X12 cab loaded with Green Backs or Reaper 55's !!!

Orange heads seem to love V30's. That's probably why nearly every cab in Orange's line is loaded with V30's. I bet 2 V30's and 2 G12T-75's in an X-pattern would sound titties.
