I have a mint Korg M1 that I play around with. It's old (1990?) but the M1 was a huge step forward in synth technology, and still sounds fantastic.

EDIT: I edited my post because I actually have an M1, not an M3. Duh!

When my budget allows it, I'll be in the hunt for the Roland VG-99 unless they come up with something better in the meantime.
