I dig most any SG, but there's something special about one in white. I get a boner just thinking about Woody Weatherman's battle worn ESP Custom SG . One of the secksiest SG's ever, and it aint even a Gibby lol.

I have to say, the price of these new standard models that they've essentially been selling as '61 reissues for the last couple of years is a bit of a cheap shot to everyone who paid a premium for the small pickguard nad vintage-correct neck join.

I don't understand why Gibson has not done this sooner. Those large pickguards on their Standards are silly, these smaller ones on the 61 RI have always looked much better.
