Is there anyone here that use (or did use) some very mild overdrive or distortion with their electro acoustics ?
The only clips i can find on YouTube when i do such a search is with massive amounts of gain, and that sounds horrible - to say the least.
Do you guys know of any good clips out there with minimal/tastefull amounts of gain with an acoustic ?
Thanx

Check out Jack Conte on the Tube. He plays his acoustic through all kinds of pedals. He uses a Big Muff with his acoustic.

Guitar solo at 3:14. This is the only one I can recall. Sounds more like Fishman EQ and real good compressor.

I don't have a link for you, but do a search on John Butler. He uses distortion on 12 string acoustics and on 6 string acoustics. He may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I like him.

There's a bit of distortion in his tone, but it works for the song.

Yup, that's who came to my mind, as well.

The late T-Bone has a touch towards the end of this song from Live From Daryl's House.
