Sound Quality
I bought this for bottleneck/slide guitar, old blues and gospel in open tunings. Initial sound was fair, replacing the cone with a National cone and a new nut helped a great deal. No pickup (I may install one later) but with steel fingerpicks it plays quite loud. I was unable to locate a metal body resonator in Las Vegas or Reno so I have no guitar to compare it to. I am pleased with the sound.
Reliability/Durability
This guitar stays at home. It is sturdy enough to use as a weapon. 3 months of regular use and it is solid.

General Comments
I've been playing 8 years and have 9 or 10 guitars. Would have been nice to try another brand before buying but no one stocks these things. The copper body seems to be unique and caught my eye; I was trying to save up for a National but don't play well enough to justify $2,000+. With upgrades I have less than $600 in this and I am pleased with it. Now for a good pickup...
