Sound Quality
I didn't use it in series in the audio path so I can't say whether it degrades the sound or not.
Reliability/Durability
You can't depend on it, because It's a crappy tuner. I would never use it on a gig since it's useless. The lower the pitch the (much) longer it takes to identify it. It takes ages for the low E, it simply doesn't work for my seven string low B: too low for it. I can't figure out how a bass player could ever be able to use it.
Price/Value
General Comments
I play progressive rock, I've been playing for more than 10 years, I have and have had a lot of gear and this is the worst tuner I've ever had. I've got rid of it less than two months after buying it. If it were stolen or lost I would thank God, but fortunately I sold it before (actually nobody would be so idiot to steal such a piece of junk). I gave it up on rack tuners and now I'm using a Korg DT-10 pedal, which I recommend. If you really need a rack tuner, buy a Korg, it's worth the extra bucks.
