Sound Quality
As I said earlier, the sound is unique. Basically, take a bass-heavy dread sound and add some more great bass, courtesy of the all-dao body. The guitar projects well, but I think the thick finish kills it a little. However, none of this matters with an amplifier as the guitar sounds great. I would like a little more balance towards the highs, but this is a dread we're talking about.
Reliability/Durability
This being my main guitar, I don't intend to take it anywhere it might get wrecked, so I've no comments here.
Price/Value
General Comments
This is an overall great guitar for the value. I was really looking for a step-up guitar loaded with features and I found one. However, I'm into fingerpicking, so I would have gone with a Seagull folk had I known more about guitars when making blind purchases. For now, I can blame Panama's limited selection for being stuck with a guitar that doesn't fit my style. But if you want a great-sounding bargain and a looker, here's the guitar for you!
