Sound Quality
From chicken-pick'in to meaty blues to jazz. No guitar that I have ever played or owned, has this kind of feel and sound. I play through a Fender 2-12 Hot Rod Deville, no effects, clean channel with no overdrive. It is not that I am a purist or anything like that, I just feel that it is a shame to distort or mask the tones this guitar can produce.
Reliability/Durability
This guitar gets abuse. It is not babied. Never had a problem with this guitar. All knobs, switches, line jack, and hardware work perfectly. No need for a back up, unless it's another smok'in Benedict.

General Comments
I have had my Benedict since 1997. It is the 2nd left handed Groove Master ever built. I have owned a Tele, a Strat, a Fender accoustic, and had a Lefty Les Paul for a short while. The Strat and Les Paul are gone now. I only play my Benedict now until I Get another one built.
