it has very good sound quality and is a lot less noisy than my Zoom. it has a wide range of tones and distortion sounds (bassy - high). Although it can get a little nosier when you crank up the Presense (tone) knob but it is still very quiet for a distortion pedal.
Reliability/Durability:
Very strongly built!! the case is aluminum and is about 16th of an inch thick. I have never had any problems with breakage although the switch button is plastic (thick and big) but it hasn't failed me yet in 3 years of use.
Ease of Use:
Very easy to use. there is 3 knobs Level, Presense, and Distortion. I bought mine used with no manual. Presense is basically a tone control. All the way down it will produce a almost death metal sound (with full distortion) and all the way up it will produce a higher distortion almost a hendrix sound (if you cut back on the distortion).the only reason I gave it a ten is because teh knobs sometimes come off the posts.
Customer Support:
never had to call DOD (very good products)
Overall Rating:
I would buy it again! it is very easy to use, sounds good, and was cheap. It is an older version of the "Super American Metal" pedal but sounds almost the same. I have modified mine a little bit to give it a little more "grunge"sound but I have submitted this with the information that I had before I modified it.
