I thought it was very quiet for a octave/fuzz effect. I like using my Les Paul with it...you get that cool old fuzz sound with that magic ghost note showing itself all around the 12th fret. You back off the intensity knob and get a clean octave up effect too. There are alot of possibilities with this little pedal.
Reliability/Durability:
It seems very well wired, should last for years to come.
Ease of Use:
Two knobs pretty easy to use...it has some real great sounds in it...from 12 to 3 you get Hendrix live.....you can also get some early Jeff Beck..(Blow by Blow or Wired) with a little playing.
The instructions were helpful and it a fun on eto play.

I love the old classic rock sounds...Hendrix, Zeppelin, Clapton, and SRV and such......playing for over 30 years...been though tons of gear this one is a keeper. If you can find one get one. They did'nt make alot of these...it's a great pedal for solo's and sound effects when needed. It's a good value for a bootik pedal..I don't have 700 for the real deal.
