The unit is quite noisy. Actually depends on type of amp and the settings of these. I use it mostly as a treblebooster in front of my 100w Marshall Super Lead (volume on 7-8), so i dont really care about background noises. The fuzz is funnier in front of a cleaner amp like a fender super reverb, but it's quite good (demonic?) sounding
Reliability/Durability:
There is a problem with the fuzz/booster switch but since i dont use it on stage.....i don't want a backup
Ease of Use:
Very easy. Contains a fuzz and a treblebooster.4 knobs: 3 for fuzz, 1 for trebleboost. 3 ft/switches (effects on/off,fuzz/treblebooster & fuzz mode). The fuzz is actually 2 in 1.A normal full-bandwith mode and a more middle toned type of fuzz. the controls for fuzz is intensity, tone and volume. the treblebooster has a single volume knob.
Customer Support:
I never dealt with Roland, so i don't know. i will try and get the switch fixed. I want a guitartech !!!!
Overall Rating:
I love it's functionality. No knobs on top of the pedal, they are in the front of it. The sound of the treblebooster in front of an old Marshall is evil. Very 70's . Actually i think it boosts the lower midrange more than treble.
