make sure your playing into a CLEAN amp. this isn't a booster and it ain't no tubescreamer; it's a big muff. the tone reminds me of some of the early 70's big muffs. Think of it like a a big muff that lets you sculpt the tonal character.
pretty sweet muff style fuzz, great for stoner rock, smashing pumpkins, dinosaur junior, sonic youth, stooges type stuff. soaring leads and heavy power chords are go. very saturated and dripping with harmonics. a metric pluck ton of gain; already sounds heavy with the drive at zero so don't be afraid to keep the drive set low.

pretty straight forward. lots of tonal variation between the "fat" and "muscle" controls. i would have named these controls "body" instead of "fat" and "spectrum" instead of "muscle". once you get the hang of it it's easy to get just the right balance for each guitar/amp combo.

this is a pretty killer pedal in reality and also a very unique and musical one. i would recommend this for pro level players looking for a creamy muff style fuzz tone. if your looking for an overdrive or classic distortion sound this will only frustrate you.
