Well, sometimes it goes EHHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE instead of allowing any signal through. I realize that this pedal is not supposed to get you a pristine tone, but I highly doubt the buzz I often get was intentional. See below for why I'm not giving a number rating.
When the unit works however, it sounds great and I can have a lot of fun with it.
Reliability/Durability:
I cannot depend on this product. Explanation: I purchased this pedal in June. Almost immediately afterwards, Josh (FXDoctor) sent me an email saying that it would be about a month before i would get it and if I didn't want too wait he would refund my money immediately. Very accomodating. i said sure I'll wait, no big deal. I received the pedal in September. This honestly didn't bother me much. It also didn't bother me that the pedal had a different paint job than the one pictured when I purchased it.
What bothered me was the lack of AC jack, which was listed in the description when I paid for it. I emailed him about it and he said that the description had been changed some time ago and that I should refresh my browser. i did, and he was right, it didn't say AC Adapter andy more. But at that point it had been three months and I'm almost certain that I paid for the version with the jack. Of course i can't prove that and I'm not calling him a trick or anything.
But if you're interested in his stuff, just double check with him what exactly you're getting. It might help.
The other issue, that buzz of which I spoke, may or may not also be indirectly related to the missing AC jack. I really can't use batteries in pedlas on my board so I plugged in an adapter. I can't rule out the possibility that the wire might have tugged on the circuits inside or misplaced something. And I can't send it back for warranty because I cut a tiny hole in the back plate in order to have the adapter wire come out.
I will refrain from giving a number rating because i really can't say the problem is not my fault. Just wanted to explain so that others can be informed.
Ease of Use:
No problems. One knob, one switch. Switch for on/off. Knob for Bias.
Customer Support:
He always shot me back emailas real quick, but I've heard otherwise from others.
