I bought mine off of ebay for 60 dollars. It had a terrible scratch noise when I moved the pedal up and down. I connected behind my TU-2 boss tuner and it mysteriously dissappeared (though when put in a line without the tuner is still has the scratch).
Now it is a very good pedal. Has a knob that allows you to choose how much range of volume you want the pedal to give you. Works really well.
Reliability/Durability:
I bought it broken off of ebay and fixed the problem myself, so I can't tell you if it will hold. It looks like it's built like a tank, but who knows... boss builds them tough, but since I got it broken, I would read a different review for this department.

It's a great volume/expression pedal. The knob that lets you control the range of volume you can control is VERY USEFUL.
