My unit is old and broken. It has needed lots of repairs, so it has been retired, and I have a near-replacement with the boss me-50b. But it's nowhere near the same. Oh well. Have to give it a low mark here for breaking down on me, but it is old.

It is perfect for bass! Guitar does NOT sound great through it, but bass does. Especially the manual phaser.
