Sound Quality:
I use it mostly with a Les Paul and a marshall head. Not noisy at all. the effect is very noticeable,I`ve done several recordings on which it defines my "special sound".I should comment its coloration of the sound though.Since it is such an old pedal,I believe such coloration comes from the potentiometer and its age.Its not bad,as a matter of fact I had not noticed for quite some time that it was part of the tone I was getting, but it sounded good, only it robbed me of some gain, which gives it a nice sound for distorted rhytim.
Reliability/Durability:
I,ve gigged with it without a problem, but because of the gain reduction,I'm using it for the tone I get for recording only.
Ease of Use:
Its use is pretty standard.Volume knob min/max and a rocker pedal. The knob sets the total reduction with pedal toe up,toe down the signal is unaffected.Unlike its current version, its a mono pedal.
Customer Support:
I have no idea.It is not currently made anyway.
Overall Rating:
I play any good music. The pedal is versatile:clean gives you fade effects, which you can use in atmospheric moods. While distorted, the sound will not fade, but rather distort less. That makes it versatile enough for a variety of styles.I 've been playing for about 10 years, music is my income.I would miss it if stolen, since it is no longer made!I love the variety of sounds I can get with it since it gives me dinamic expression.Too bad it is not transparent, although it does not spoil the sound, just changes it.Maybe I,ll find a way to make it bypassable, that would solve my dilema. Its best feature is its expressiveness(since it would depend on its user).
