MXR Phase 90 Mod

Same great phase sound as before but now no tone suck due to true bypass. BASS RIG: Sadowsky jazz and PJ basses Kern 777 preamp Crown K2 power amp EA VL210 cab (will get a Bergantino 322) Mutron III, DODFX2B, FMR RNC compressor, Roger Mayer Voodoo 1, EBS Multidrive, MXR Phase 90 vintage

The AC adapter and metal frame for the LED seem like the FX Doctor knows what abuse it will get. Very sturdy. True bypass: no more tone suck!

I have a vintage '70s script MXR Phase 90 (says BUD on inside of box so you know it's the real deal). Great little phaser but sucked tone when not engaged and lacked an LED and AC adaptor. I use in my guitar and bass rig but I have more gigs with bass and wanted the AC adaptor: I don't to risk battery failur at a session or gig.

GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT! FIRST RATE! I heard of FX Doctor through the various fx forum grapevine. He could be great ; he could be a total scam artist. I went on instinct, e-mailed him about the mods I wanted. I am most grateful and content. He replies to e-mails very promptly, engaged all my e-mail questions and I am a happy camper. Heck, I just got an EH Smallstone USA reissue on Ebay and had it mailed directly to him for some mods without seeing it first!
