To me, this is the ultimate chorus unit, parked right between Jacques' Meistersinger (basically a Boss CE-2 clone) and the CE-20 Chorus Enesmble from the same manufacteur. The chorus section is just marvellous: Analougue and fat sounding, with the typical enhancement known from Ibanez chorus units; a gate prevents noise being added. It is rich, organic and prominent. Dial in the speed at 8h and turn the depth completely clockwise and you're in lush heaven. Crank both pots up to 11h and the sound will become even richer with a musical yet gentle warbling. The flanger can be used to get rotary sound when speed is cranked up nearly(!) full; make sure to back up the other pots to 12h or so. Further this unit is capable of giving you the sparkling flanging tone of a FL9 is dialed in correctly, not to mention the great helicopter sounds (without the oscillation known from so many other products). Yes sir, this is a hell of a chorus/flanger-unit, perhapt the most versatile out there; get one if you can!
Reliability/Durability:
Well, every pedal of the 10's series tends to have issues with the very switch itself - it ain't that reliable, not made for being used live in the 21st century. It the studio it is worth every single buck you paid for it - so dont't judge a book by it's cover!
Ease of Use:
Since this is a very versatile unit, it is not easy to handle - but worth it anyway! ;o)
Customer Support:
No opinion, since I never called on Ibanez.
Overall Rating:
It's one hell of an chorus/flanger pedal; get one if you can! And I mean it Jack Bauer-style: NOW!!! ;o)))

I'm probably biased . I bought mine almost 20 yrs. ago in Germany, when pedal chiruses and flangers sounded bad. This was the best sounding available
Reliability/Durability:
Never had a problem used it eith no backup at gigs for 15years
Ease of Use:
It can be a little confusing at first due to the dual nature of the pedal but once you get the hang of the switch  configuration its very good. it could of used a more flexable way to change between no input aand one or both.

I've been playing "Classic" (I hate labels) Rock Professionally since my junior year in High School, even while in the military, and after a 4 year break I'am starting again I've always used Fender Guitars and amps and will continue to use my PC10

Overall this thing sounds pretty good.  The flanger is like its predecessor, the FL-9, with a little more metallic flanging sound.  It's also not as noisy as its predecessor.  I guess it's like a cross between the Ibanez FL-9 and the Boss BF-2.  I give the flanger sound an 8.  I still prefer the FL-9 or FL-99 Classic Flanger, but it's a step us from the Boss flanger. The Chorus is actually still the flanger with the D-time and Flange controls preset to low levels.  A better name for this pedal might have been "Dual Mode Flanger".   Actually with these two controls turned all the way down the flanger can be made to sound almost exactly like the chorus.  You still get a hint of that metallic flanging sound in the chorus.  If you like that then this is a good thing, but I prefer the sound of an EH Small Clone.  In this category I give it a 6. Overall I give it a 7 for sound.  I would use it as a flanger, but I would still use my Small Clone for chorus sounds.
Reliability/Durability:
Although the 10 series pedals are fairly well constructed they are still inferior to the 9 series and most Boss pedals in their quality of construction.  After fifteen years of use I have seen many of these pedals with scratchy pots and bad jacks.  To make matters worse all of these components are soldered directly to the circuit board making it unfeasible to fix them (when you consider that you can often replace the whole pedal for $35).  But I have only ever had one 10 series pedal die on me and that was my fault so I can't call them unreliable.
Ease of Use:
The PC10 Prime Dual Chorus is two pedals in one; a chorus and a flanger.  It has speed and width controls for the chorus and speed, width, flange and d-time for the flanger.  It also has a three-position slider to chose between chorus, flanger, or footswitch selectable modes.  In the chorus or flanger positions the footswitch turns the selected effect on or off.  In the footswitchable position the built in footswitch toggles back and forth between the effects.  An extra input jack on the top of the pedal allows a single button footswitch to be connected that turns the pedal on and off with the slider in footswitchable position.  With all of these knobs, switches, and jacks this pedal is a little harder to use than a standard distortion pedal, but it isn't rocket science. I got mine used so I don't know how the manual is.
Customer Support:
Never had to deal with them.
Overall Rating:
Overall this isn't a bad pedal for the money.  If you're looking for a chorus and a flanger (or two flangers) without taking up much pedalboard space this may be what you are looking for.  Like I said it probably would have been more appropriate to call it the Dual Mode Flanger.  But what does it really matter?  Just be on the lookout for bad jacks and scratchy knobs. In summary I'll stick with my FL-9 and Small Clone, but I'm not ready to get rid of the PC10 just yet.  It might make a good backup.

Up against the Arion SFC-1, Arion SCH-1, and the Ibanez FL5 the Ibanez sounds great.  I have had only a few chorus and flanger pedals but from what I have heard, this pedal is as good or better.  Range of sound is great.  Not noisy, no noise from the switch when turned on or off, little or no loss of signal and no increase in output no matter where the dials are set to.  What more can I ask for?
Reliability/Durability:
I bought it used.  All metal construction.  Knobs quite well protected by the higher large footswitch.  Looks vintage yet everything is as tight as new.  Never saw any other similar pedal in any of the effects sites so it must be quite old yet still works like new.
Ease of Use:
The Ibanez Prime Dual Chorus PC10....2 pedals in one (chorus and/or flanger.  Total of 6 knobs.  2 knobs (speed & width) for the Chorus channel and 4 knobs (speed, width, flange & D-time) for the Flanger channel.  Easy to find the setting you want.  The 3 way selection switch allows you to use Stereo Chorus (on/off), Flanger (on/off) or Stereo Chorus/Flanger.  2 outputs.
Customer Support:
Made in Japan.  Ibanez name.  Never needed to get in touch with the company but Ibanez have been around for a long time and their longevity speaks for it's self.
Overall Rating:
I play mostly blues.  I use a solid body electric quitar, neck through construction with 2 Gibson style humbuckers.  I don't use the pedal much.  But since it sounds so good, 2 pedals in one, seems to be so dependable and does not adversely affect the sound of my guitar whether on or off, it definitely has a place in my pedal board.  Fantastic value.
