this thing kicks ass especially when compared to modern wahs.crazy world man this was a reaction to the italian wahs of the time circa 68-70. and the japanese did very well--it does somthing even my halo inductor vox clyde wah doesn't do. almost impossible to explain but it has a certain something to it plus it's small and has a bitchin' sweep.
Reliability/Durability:
mine's in perfect condition and works flawlessly funny my new vox clyde wah already has problems-3 mos old-crap my original vox wah is more reliable than the new ones
Ease of Use:
step on it and bam you got one hell of a good wah as stated no stomp switch more of an activation switch and yes you can still get the switches
Customer Support:
acetone was roland before there was roland i'm shure if pressed they would have a way to fix it.
Overall Rating:
my friend's dad was the guitarist for the broadway show hair and he gave me this and a triangle big muff as well as some other stuff what a cool guy this is a total secret weapon!!!!! if you find one snatch it up as quick as you can!!

Using an Electra MPC X-310 plugged into a little Peavey Bass 40 amp. This Wahmaster is a bit crackly at times, but hell with the dirty Memory Man and the "Fuzz to oblivian" Fuzzrite no one notices.
Reliability/Durability:
Almost never use it for gigs now. This item is now seriously undependable. I've fixed almost every problem with it, the last problem is the tiny internal switch at the bottom of the pedal that switches it off when you let off the pedal. it gets stuck. If and when I find a replacement switch I will always use it. For now I picked up a Cry Baby to use to get me through. It does not do the same great job as the Wahmaster though.
Ease of Use:
Damn fine wah pedal. As mentioned in the other review there's an on/off switch, wah is triggered by stepping on it. This thing used in line after a Mosrite Fuzzrite and before a EH Memory Man makes for some Hauntingly insane sounds. I found out (after having to repair it constantly - hell it is old I believe this is a 1967 model) that you can adjust the variable pot inside to get more extreme sweeps in the wah effect. In the early-mid 80's, I was sucking up tons of these old analog pedals for between $5 to $10 each. This is one of only 3 out of dozens I kept. Kept it over the Maestro Wah (forget model #) and a few others.

Overall Rating:
I play mostly sloshly fuzz echo guitar and the Wahmaster is the icing on the cake. it can pierce through any PA system...let me explain: I play small venue gigs where more often than not I bypass the PA system with my littel 40 Watt amp. When using the Acetone along with the Fuzzrite, it punctures the PA and can usually be heard above all else.

Like I said its pretty good.so far no noise.Im running through a crate half stack with all boss pedals and I like the sound I get.everything from ted to shred. {Nugent that is}
Reliability/Durability:
This thing looks pretty old.I would say late 70's and its still going.Made out of steel so it feels reliable enough.Did they have plastic back then:-)
Ease of Use:
sounds good!I found this in a used music store and they had it for $39 so I gave it a shot.It has a on off switch that is not foot switchable.BUT it is self activating when the switch is on and there is no wah effect till you move the pedal forward. Its kind of like the morely bad horsie wah.The only thing is there is no AC power, battery only. But most wah's that i have tried had some hum to them with a power supply. The wah effect is good Not to much not to little.

I only use wah from time to time when I play some vai stuff.I do use it in my rig for shows and its working well with its other borad buddies.I love the bad horsie wahs but dont like the hum from the power supply and for $39 I cant complain.
