I've found no better fuzz for direct recording. Works great on guitar, and even organ. And being able to dial in the direct signal makes it unbeatable for bass guitar.
Reliability/Durability:
I found mine at a coastal second hand store for five bucks. The bottom plate is missing, and I suspect the bypass switch should be replaced because it only turns on and off about half the time. But I'm sure that one in good shape would be quite dependable. It's built like a tank!
Ease of Use:
A squirly pedal, for sure, but one that will make the hair on the back of your neck stand at attention.
Customer Support:
This is a vintage product, so generally you are on your own. I doubt Gibson/Maestro is going to sweat your call these days!
Overall Rating:
I can't say enough about this pedal. I only wish I owned one in better shape. It's definately has a special sound... I can't imagine using it for my main guitar tone, but in the right place it's unbelievable and unbeatable. Grab one if you can find one!

Excellent, if you like 70's Fuzz sounds. Almost every kind of sound you'll ever need. Excellent for heavy style. The ideal thing besides my IBANEZ TS9 to be used with an IBANEZ ATK 305, Warwick Streamer , Fretless Jazz Bass
Reliability/Durability:
No experience yet, but it seems to be more than stable
Ease of Use:
Little bit tricky to find a proper setting, but it is definitely woth the work to spend
Customer Support:
Not neede yet
Overall Rating:
At the moment I play britisch poprockpsychedelic... and from time to time some 70's like hardrock stuff.
