Well when I use a guitar it is nice - but with bass it really just can't hit those lower notes - anything on the E-string is not picked up very well. When I can actually hear it though, it is nice.
Reliability/Durability:
Seems very sturdy, I don't see it breaking any time soon...
Ease of Use:
Pretty simple, standard for this type of pedal.

I play all kinds of rock, as well as jazz and funk. It doesn't really suit any of those styles - rock maybe, but it sounds a tad cheesy. I play with a Warwick FNA, through a marshall combo and with a setup as focussed on the low-end as that, it doesn't cut it. If it were stolen I really wouldn't care. I just bought this by impulse on ebay. This effect gets a 9 for guitar use, but only a 5 for bass because without the E string, there's no point in having it! After all it is a BASS chorus....apparently....

Lovely and smooth. I haven't tried the Boss chourus so I can't compare. I run my Ibanez SR885 -> Boss Lim/Enh -> Boss SYB -> Carvin R1000 head -> (FX loop): Korg AX1B -> DOD fx67. I love it for slow moody parts Sounds really cool with distortion, a kind of sci-fi sound. I usually keep the level knob at max, the speed at 12 o'clock, depth between 1 and 3 o'clock. I set the high eq knob to my mood at the moment. Crank up the speed and you get caffienated warbles (although I would like it faster, even though it's not that applicable.) Good with tremelo and panning effects. Not so good with synth pedal (so far). Gives you crisp high end or a chilly (not muddy) lack thereof. Tends to fart out at lower frequencies (below A), but adds overall depth regardless. Can sound really close to Nirvana's "Come as You Are".
Reliability/Durability:
This is my oldest pedal and been through a lot. Built like a brick. The only problem I have had is the the nut around the input and output jacks gets loose (actually fell off once and jack fell into body - major pain in ass!) and this can create popping if cables a jiggled. An angled jack and duct tape can remedy this.
Ease of Use:
The manual is typically wacky DOD jargon. Good examples. Nothing technical here. 4 knobs (level, speed, depth, high end). Plug it in and play around. Knobs are a lot tighter than Boss pedals. Set and forget.
Customer Support:
No experience here. Hopefully never.
Overall Rating:
I paid WAY too much for this pedal (crappy, small music stores!!) I have played blues and bluesy alt-rock and this pedal became my mainstay. My current band Tryptycon (plug, plug) plays aggressive metal with hip-hop, reggae, drum 'n' bass, and funk tendancies and this pedal is still my mainstay. If you can run in stereo do it! It's phat! I run in mono, but I use the Stereo out jack (more high end methinks). After hearing this pedal in use mu guitar player fell in love with it and he uses a lot of chorus in our more mellow and reggae parts. If I lost this pedal I'd kick myself, if it was stolen I'd kick the punk butt of who stole it. I would replace it as instantly as my checkbook would allow it (at a much lower price - thank you decent non - pirate run stores). If you need a little shimmer in your shake or tears in your fears, this may be the pedal for you.

I isn't noisy at all. The chorus sounds really cool. I especially like it with the level, depth, and high-end all cranked, and the rate at 1/4 to 1/3. This gives it a dark, watery kind of feel which comes in handy at mellow gigs. This is the only pedal I always have in my loop.
Reliability/Durability:
It's been kicked off two stages, and bounced around in my car for a long time. It's very sturdy and could probably knock a guy out. I've had it a year, and no problems have come up.
Ease of Use:
It is fairly easy to use. It has four knobs controlling level, rate, depth, and high end shimmer (a very cool effect). It also has a stereo out. The booklet is mostly B.S., with some useful tips about settings, but I did most of the figuring out on my own.

Overall Rating:
I'd buy it again in a second. It sounds better than the Boss bass chorus I played on and it suits my needs just great. It just has that funky vibe to it.
