I had an arion-Z,theres a volume difference (louder)which i don't like.I had a Boss CH1, which i find sometimes difficult to have a nice sounding setting & a bit thin. The icebox is better than the two, it has a nice lush & brighter sound. Icebox with an overdrive it still has a nice blending sound like an ice cream on a cone. Also nice with a delay & an acoustic simulator.
Reliability/Durability:
I had a 2nd hand item & hope it would be fine.
Ease of Use:
At first I thought the level is meant for volume but its for dry/wet mix.Almost same as a Boss CH1 function knobs.Takes me a few minutes to tweak to have a nice chorus settings.

Overall, I like this pedal & that's it.

Great very transulusant & icey Chorus sound, very fluid and loose, great chorus sound.
Reliability/Durability:
brought it second hand, its from 1996 so it's 14 years old and works and looks great
Ease of Use:
pretty easy to sue providing you understand the Chorus, one issue with DOD pedals is somtimes because the level and blend controls can be tempremental but this ones fine. Very versitile and many usable and different sounds.
Customer Support:
Never used
Overall Rating:
Cheap, looks good, reliable and terrific sounds, recommned this pedal as your choice for Chorus.

Some dummy from Craigslist!!!!

Again, very basic and transparent. If you are looking for an all-out balls-out effect, this isn't for you! Sounds very complimenting to all clean settings, but sounds pretty bad with distortion.
Reliability/Durability:
So far so good! The plastic button is holding up after a dozen or two gigs...
Ease of Use:
This is a very basic/transparent chorus pedal. I believe it's a newer one since is has the actual knob descriptions! I purchased this used from "CL", and got it incredibly cheap. The only reason I purchased this pedal is because it has an effect level control knob, not all chorus pedals have it!
Customer Support:
Does DOD even have a phone number????
Overall Rating:
Perfect for anyone that is looking for just a touch of chorus, and want the ability to control the level of it!

Subltle is the word used in many reviews. I use it in stereo through tube amps and a Headrush tape emaluation, also an Artec phaser so I can and do get allot more lush tones out of it. I used to own a DOD stereo chorus in the early 90's and sold all my equipment to buy a house. Now I am back and was very glad to find this used. If you play classic rock keep in mind artists did not have the luxury of digital pedals, so it it hard to say who's sound you will get. It depends allot on your other equipment also. I like to find my own sound.
Reliability/Durability:
DOD pedals are very reliable in my opinion.
Ease of Use:
Easy to use I guess. If you are familiar with this type on an effect self explanitory. If you are a novice dont worry it will come.
Customer Support:
never used them.
Overall Rating:
I play classic rock my own music and folk. Been playing since the mid 60's. I would buy another if it were lost. It helps my music and helps me make music. Police this one!! (pick one up)

FX64 Ice Box Stereo Chorus

This is a very subtle, transparent chorus, which I prefer. It is not thick and lush like many other popular brands, but it does the trick for me. I can get funky when maxed, but I don't find a use for that. The HL EQ setting doesn't seem to do very much at all. It's a very quiet pedal when using a good AC adapter
Reliability/Durability:
I'm pretty easy on equipment...I baby it. It's well built and should hold up for many years. Not crazy about the plastic footswitch.
Ease of Use:
4 knobs...pretty easy to get going...takes a bit more to tweak. I have the version where the controls are properly named...not those novelty names they originally gave this series. The manual isn't great.
Customer Support:
Overall Rating:
For the price, it's a very good pedal that gives you quite a bit of control although, again, it is a very subtle effect.
