I used this with my fender p-bass through my Evan's fet 500 custom LV stack and the pedal sounds really good on the d and g strings, but when you get to that thicker gauge of strings, the chorus doesn't shine through like I think it should.
Reliability/Durability:
It is made of durable metal. but the switch is plastic like all dod pedals, but i wouldn't mind taking this on any gig. I trust it just as much as any other pedal I own.
Ease of Use:
It is pretty easy to get the sound you want out of it, but the speed and delay time controls don't really differ from each other much.
Customer Support:
Overall Rating:
It is a good pedal for lighter parts of music, and have had no problem with it since I bought it. I like it because it is stereo, but when pluged in a mono patch, the volume drops a little bit, so it is kind of a hassle when you're switching around pedals, It would definitely go 1st in the line of the pedals.

I have used this for a few years with a Fender Jazz Deluxe 5 string, a fretless Jazz and a Tobias 6 string through an Eden World Tour 800 with peavy and swr cabinets. The pedal is very quiet both on and off, but it doesn't have enough depth to it. It sounds weak. It sounds good if you're looking for a real light chorus, but if you're looking for that deep Jaco purrr, this pedal isn't for you. I always use this pedal in stereo.
Reliability/Durability:
It's rock solid. I've had it for years and I bought it used, it hasn't had any problems yet. I've never used a back up (partly just because I'm cheap).
Ease of Use:
The pedal is very easy to use, it only has three knobs (speed, delay and depth).
Customer Support:
Never dealt with them, no need to.
Overall Rating:
It's a decent pedal. I'm looking for a new chorus, but when I get one I will definitely keep this one as a back up. If you can get one as cheap as I did, don't hesitate to buy it. Like I said earlier, It just doesn't have enough depth. It just doesn't sound fat enough for my taste.

used it with Epiphone rock bass, Rickenbacker 4003 and Westone thunder I fretless through Peavey Merk VIII head and 2x10. very good and quiet, but not great. the depth is very low. it could easily be stronger.
Reliability/Durability:
build like a rock! i cant use battery with mine but that's is my fault... i used it on stage and was very happy about it.
Ease of Use:
just plug-and play. three knobs: speed (that's for rate) delay time and depth. very easy to use. got to outputs-stereo.
Customer Support:
Overall Rating:
i play rock and blues so i dont really NEED that one, but i use it sometimes and it is ok. as i said, it should be stronger. i dont think i'd buy it again, i'd try BOSS or newer DOD.

FX62 Bass Stereo Chorus

I use this with my Ibanez Musician MC924 Bass, and Electra LP copy, Charvel 425sp, Jackson PS3, and other guitars. I have used this pedal with a number of Amps. I subtract a little on sound quality because you can hear the modulation circuitry working under high amplification -- but I'm VERY fond of the deep, subtle chorus this box produces in stereo. To get the really smooth, deep sound, set the speed very slow, set the delay at about 1-3 oclock, and set the depth to 80-100%
Reliability/Durability:
I bought the pedal brand new in the 80's and it has performed flawlessly since. HOWEVER, I've had the footswitch go flakey on a couple of similar DOD models from the same era, so I try to take it easy on this one.
Ease of Use:
Simple. All three of the controls (speed, delay time, and depth) have a mild input on the sound. It's hard to do any thing wrong here unless you turn the depth all the way down.
Customer Support:
No contact with Cust. Support.
Overall Rating:
I own 6 guitars, 3 amps, several rackmount processors. This is the only stompbox I didn't sell when I converted all my stuff to rackmount. I just couldn't duplicate the chorus of this little box with rackmount stuff. I'm VERY fond of the smooth, subtle chorus this box produces in stereo. Particulary with a guitar (not bass) with PAF style pickups playing background figures with the two channels panned hard left and right. This pedal's forte is with slower, warmer sounds, and it is not suited to faster playing styles whether with distortion or without. This is a "one trick pony" and it does it's one trick very well when set up right.

I use this with a cheep jazz and a cheep p copy. it's quiet. It's got a nice sound but the newer boss and dod pedals sound better.
Reliability/Durability:
I'm using it without a backup cause i can't afford another one. it's built strong and i haven't had a problem.
Ease of Use:
3 nobs, speed, delay time, and depth. very basic chorus. The manual is confusing cause it is for two different pedals. it has two suggested settings, one for light chorus and one for heavy chorus. the delay time isn't useful and i keep it on 100% on all my settings.
Customer Support:
never delt with them
Overall Rating:
It's a nice pedal for $30. if you can find one cheep it's a decent pedal for the money. it adds a lot of depth to slow songs. it sounds really cool in sterio but i don't usualy use that festure. I'd buy the newer boss or dod pedals if this one were lost or stolen. It needs the eq filter control that the new pedals have so i could do vibrato on just high notes. it's a nice pedal to have if you just want to add something to slow songs. if you can afford a new pedal the new models are better.
