Sound Quality:
The GE-7 Equalizer Mod focuses on two areas of this pedal: eliminating the noise this pedal makes and adding to the range of the stock pedal. Besides reducing the noise the Equalizer Mod gave my pedal more transparency to my tone more range control mainly in the Low-Mid section. The pedal now works WITH my tone instead of coloring it.
Reliability/Durability:
This thing is a Boss. It just won't break.
Ease of Use:
Simple to use: adjust sliders to your desired tone and play out.
Customer Support:
Matt at PepTone Electronics answered all my questions and worked with me to understand the tone I wanted. I will have more pedals modified with PepTone Electronics in the future. If I lost this pedal I would have another GE-7 modified in a heartbeat.
Overall Rating:
PepTone Electronics will make your sound better! This is a great pedal to begin with and the Equalizer Mod just makes it that much better. If you are looking for a high quality EQ in a small package and want it to be quiet while giving you that "wall of sound" get this mod done!
