I have a couple amps one that's even really muddy! The pedal is completely unusable it's not a treble boost it's a presence boost! it doesn't have much boost and it's really noisy.
Reliability/Durability:
can't say, its' going to be gutted and rebuilt.
Ease of Use:
Easy to use but you'll have to rebuild it to actually be able to use it.

This pedal will badly pierce your ear drums ! You have to turm the Treble on your amp completely off. Then you need your bass on 10 or you will get the sound of an old transistor radio from the 1960's, which sucks ! Even if you run this pedal in a chain and as a boost pedal, it is just way too much treble and only one knob to control it.
Reliability/Durability:
Yeah, it's a sturdy strong aluminum casting metal. Just like MXR pedals that are made with that type of footswitch. It's made better than the old Screaming Bird of the 1970's. The old one had just a battery for a power source. Plus, there was no circuit board and the parts just hung in the box soldered together and grounding out against the case. Overall I feel that EHX makes junk and have always made junk. I'm really surprised that they're still in business. Have you seen the owner? He looks like an old hippie reject !
Ease of Use:
Re-issue of the 1970's treble Booster. Easy to use with only one knob.
Customer Support:
I have to be totally honest that they're support is okay. I emailed a this guy there and he got right back to me twice even.
Overall Rating:
I've been playing guitar for over 40 years and in my opinion all EHX are made from cheap components like the Big(crappy)Muff pedals. I bought this pedal from Amazon.com and I played it for one day and I hate the damn thing and I'm going to return it or sell it on ebay. My other cheap overdrive pedals blow this thing out of the water.
