Sound Quality:
Sound quality (the most important category) is where this pedal falls short. For the sake of brevity, I'll summarize my main qualms with this thing list-style: -When you engage and disengage the unit there is a momentary volume decrease, making it difficult for smooth transitions -There is a noticeable decrease in sound volume when the pedals is on -It is a tone sucker, on or bypassed. This problem is heavily exacerbated if you put the pedal in an effects loop.
Reliability/Durability:
I had it for many years (although not always seeing action due to the problems above), and never really had any technical problems with it.
Ease of Use:
Fairly easy to use as far as delay pedals go. Manual has some decent suggestions.

Overall Rating:
I bought this pedal new many many years ago, before I started accruing better gear, and at first thought it was the ****. Over time I started noticing things that slightly bothered me about it, and eventually I started hating it. Get the Nova Delay.

Used with Strat, Tele, LP through silver face Champ and a pro junior. This is the single most digital sounding effect pedal I have ever heard. I have played most of the known reverb pedals. We all know they can't give you Fender spring reverb, but most of the verb pedals can at least get you in the ballpark somewhere. Not so here. I understand why Boss doesn't make it anymore. Tempted to go to ebay and get one. Don't.
Reliability/Durability:
It's a Boss.
Ease of Use:
Typical controls. Easy to use.
Customer Support:
Would never need it.
Overall Rating:
It's a Boss pedal, well made, etc. etc. But it sounds sound bad IMO that even Boss's great quality can't get me to give this effect anything higher.
