I used a carvin dc127 with s22 metal pickups ran through blues jr This pedal has no noise at all (I cant hear any) its capable of very subtle chorus to pretty decent lush when you turn the depth knob all the way up. its an analog chorus from the 70s or 80s Im not sure, cant go wrong with that!
Reliability/Durability:
the housing is steel and I would say its as sturdy as a boss pedal
Ease of Use:
very basic has 2 knobs, speed and depth.
Customer Support:
no comment
Overall Rating:
I bought this pedal off of craigslist for $25. Best bang for the buck Ive spent on my board and actually Im looking into getting more of these yamaha pedals on ebay if I get a chance. highly recommend getting this if opportunity comes!

This is my holy grail of chorus. I have owned: TC SCF Carl Martin ChorusX2 Boss Ce-1,ce2,ch1,ce5 Ibanez ch-9, digital chorus Keepey modded boss ce02 Line 6 modulation modeler dano cool cat This is the best I've ever heard. It defines the chorus effect. Does not change my tone just adds the best chorus Ive heard in my28 years of playing and the past 15 years on the road touring with national acts, Im risking letting the cat out of the bag and raise the prices of these but everyone deserves to hear one.
Reliability/Durability:
Ive gigged with this pedal for the past 2 years and the pedal is from the 80's. Its reliable.
Ease of Use:
2 knobs speed depth

The best Ive heard and to  top it off, I paid $13 usd for it in  a pawn shop.

CH-10M2 Chorus

I'll pass on the set-up, people don't care about that...they want to know about the pedal. No noise from this unit, very quiet in operation and I could not detect any noticeable tone less when in bypass. I have an earlier Yamaha Chorus pedal from the late 70's, the CH-01, and this pedal is much weaker effect when compared. The Chorus on this unit is excellent though and would suit players who want a less intrusive effect on their dry signal. With the Speed and Depth maxed out the effect is very Leslie like and you can obtain some solid chewy chorus tone here. The fact that this Chorus is analog appealed to me and I would rate this a mid range Chorus in terms of the strength of the effect. Brilliant sounds.
Reliability/Durability:
I scored this off the Bay and it needs a new switch which is on the blink. To be fair this may have been due to the personal abuse of the previous owner so judging by the overall build quality, steel case, recessed controls etc... I would say this unit is rock solid, and it is. I'd gig it without backup once I get the new switch.
Ease of Use:
Typical two control Chorus pedal with speed and depth. Plug in and play, sounds are evident immediately by turning the speed and depth knobs. No manual with this unit but I did score the original box which was novel for a pedal this old.

Overall Rating:
Been playing for 17 years, own a truck load of gear. If the unit was stolen or lost I wouldn't feel so bad as I have two of these and the Yamaha CH-01. The steel casing and the unusual design of the pedal make this a mojo must as well as the fact that it is analog and an 80's pedal. The sounds on this chorus are lush and very classy. If you want a Chorus capable of heavy detune, this is not the one but it is capable of some nice chewy wobble at the top of it's game. A great Chorus pedal thats a total sleeper!

Not noisy, sounds great. I have lots of chorus pedals, including the  Arion SCH-1. I like this one very much. One thing in particular is the speed. On max speed it matches the fast speed on my Fender Vibratone, no looking for the sweet spot, just crank it up and go. The depth is goes from a soft swirl to a slightly detuned sound, and everything in between, also very nice. I use it with a variety of guitars and amps, and it sounds great with all of them, as well as other pedals.
Reliability/Durability:
20 years old and still going strong. Tough metal box, with the knobs well protected, they're recessed so you don't step on the knobs, just the switch.
Ease of Use:
Two knobs, could not be easier.

Overall Rating:
Would sound good for any style of music. Does just whay I want it to. My favorite chorus so far, mainly because I'm knob challenged, don't want to spend too much time finding a good sound, and with this pedal you don't have to.
