Sound Quality:
This is the real problem with these pedals. The sound quality is totally awful, the opamp is oversaturated and there is no diode clipping, its rough and 'choppy', a faster slew rate opamp might help, or better still fit clipping diodes. I did and its helped a little. I've tested it a top end PRS, Ibanez Jem, Universe etc, Marshall DSL100 amps, Peavy tranny amp and it still sound slike crap. NO SUSTAIN, your long tailing notes just die off much sooner than other pedals - due to the over saturated opamp. Original tone is gone, its not overdrive, more a cross between fuzz and distortion.
Reliability/Durability:
Its a Boss so pretty good.
Ease of Use:
Yes, this is easy to use - its only got 4 knobs, its totally analog, but not easy to get a quality sound from.

Overall Rating:
I play everything, from Metal to classical. Compare it to a Keeley type modded MT-2 or DS-1 and the PW-2 is just JUNK.
