Boss OD-1/808 Mod

I am extremely happy with this unit.  When I first plugged it on, it was like my guitar came alive.  I immediately wanted to sent my Metal Zone for a mod too...  This pedal is excellent for rythm and as a boost.  It is definitely a mid-range tone heaven.  But to get all that you give up any treble intensive sound you may sometimes need or want.  For treble aplications, you will need to look elsewhere in my humble opinion.  All that said, this pedal should be in every guitar rig.

3 knobs... nothing easier than that

For the price you can't beat it... Sounds like a Tube Screamer but with a more reliable housing... OK, it is not a Tube Screamer but it is real close and will probably outlive a Screamer by a 100 years... for less than half the $$
