This is an update to my previous review . Working more on the pedal i realize it's not that good with a band . Autowah and Humanizer are simply not very mysical and have all too much volume and tone problems . Try Behringer UW300 , it's better and cost less .
Reliability/Durability:
no problem
Ease of Use:
Customer Support:
I sent an email with specific tone volume problem question and had no reply
Overall Rating:
Not good . Better the analog on , the UW300 . But you'll have to eq the volume anyway . But i think this is a problem with any autowah or envelope filter

I'm using the pedal with an american jazz bass . You need to use bridge pickup more than the neck one to get good wah sound , i think it's because the wah effect needs mid frequencies to work well. There is no level knob . The up and down modes lose output volume but have good sounds . With knobs all half way . Synth and Humanizer give more output , so are more usable in my opinion . I like expecially Humanizer with vocals U-A : clear , musical and strong sound , without distortion . U-I is better for slap . One good thing : No bass-suck , E string open sounds as deep as in bypass (this is not true with many other autowah pedals on the market). But i don't like the lower output of the up and down wahs .
Reliability/Durability:
The pedal is made of plastic : I don't think that this is really a problem (maybe the chair you're sitting on is made of plastic too) and remember that this is one of the reasons why you are paying half Boss-price . Electronics are all cheap and cannot justify the Boss price . Behringer are simply demonstrating which should be the proper price of an effect pedal ... i don't know if other manufacturers will do the same ... it will depend on what the musicians will buy in the next years
Ease of Use:
Easy to use all types of autowahs (up,down, synths, humanizer) without reading any manual (even if there are quite good explanations) but only humanizer doesn't loose volume
Customer Support:
I sent Behringer an email once and they replied the next day
Overall Rating:
I play in a rock/R&B band , so i don't really need a Bootsy Collins sound , but i like and use this pedal anyway , expecially for solo or a few funky lines . I've been playing for ten years and found that effect are not really needed for 90% of the time that you play bass in a band (except EQ). For solo work it's different . This pedal is good to have fun with , but i don't like the inconsistent volume in different modes . Please email me if you found the same problem or better a solution to that !
