Sound Quality:
I use this as the last pedal on my pedal board of 7 pedals to limit the sound after its been processed. It causes no additional feedback or humming and it doesnt cut out any tone. One thing I don't like about it though is that there is kind of a big jump in volume between when its "almost fully forward" and when its "fully forward". Not too bad though. I just have it set to "almost fully forward" and press it down a little when I want more volume.
Reliability/Durability:
Looks pretty sturdy. Its made out of plastic. It seems like the weakest out of any of my pedals (but most of my pedals are Boss so thats hard to compare to durability-wise). I havent found too much of a use for it so I would gig without a backup. If it did break during a gig, you could just play softer/louder when needed unlike other effects such as distortion which you cant just improvise for. I think if you jumped on it, it would break, but I dont see why anyone would jump on this thing.
Ease of Use:
Easy to use...how hard can a volume pedal be? Its got two inputs and two outputs to run two different instruments off of it at the same time. Works for mic, guitar, bass, and keyboard. It has "min" volume switch so you can set how low the volume will go when the pedal is all the way back. When the pedal is all the way forward, you'll get the same volume set to the amp. Easy stuff...no manual needed for this pedal. Also, its passive so you dont need a battery.
Customer Support:
I havent seen any reviews for this thing (except for some ones in German) and I couldnt find it on the Korg website, so if I had a problem I doubt they could resolve it. Never tried though.
Overall Rating:
If this thing were lost or stolen I would get another (if I could find it). I think its rediculous to pay 100+ dollars for such a simple pedal. I only got this so I could experiment, and its come in handy a few times. I was happy to get a pedal from a brand I knew then get a slightly cheaper one for a bit less, one that might suck. I dont think its neccisarry to have this a volume pedal at all, but if you want one, this one is great.
