Faust is a tube condenser microphone. It´s definitely a "bright" side mic, because it sounds much stronger in the higher frequencies than any Neumann mic. This is definitely the best mic for voices and vocals that I´ve ever used ! Great thing is that it´s about 60 % cheaper than the big Neumann mics ! I love Faust and I can´t imagine a recording situation without this mic.
