on occasionally when the room nob is turn to 11 o'clock the fx45 creats a feedback drone noise. that can be useful.
Reliability/Durability:
i never gigged as a guitarist. but the fx45 seem like it would hold at a gig w/out a back up.
Ease of Use:
real easy to use.

this is a subtle guitar pedal. But when ran a drum machine through it i was what amazed by the sound. it sound like there was heavy guitar/bass play on top of it. soo cool!

ok here we go. i got this cause im a reverb junkie had some bucks to spare and wanted to put something unusual on my board. i had no clue what to expect cause there isnt any real availability of analog reverbs on the market. so in first hearing i was disapointed. knowing now what i was expecting was a echo pedal. but after using it a few days later i was blown away. its very subtle, but what it does subtle is incredible. it adds this thickness to your tone a analog warmth. i use it right behind my boss dd6 and it warms the hell out of it. almost giving it more of a analog feel in the delays. it definetly adds a certain classic sound to a pedal board. i havent really hear anything yet it didnt sound good with yet. you can simulate a spring pretty well but its more then that. more like well like nothing ive heard before. ok so these pedals were the last made in a whole replacement of the old analog chips and going into the digital. to my knowledge only two companies made analog reverb boxs. arion, and dod. and the concept behind the dod makes it much more interesting. ok so two bbd chips set to create a 5 short echo sweep to simulate reverb. if you tap a string you can here the 5 echoes. and they were only made for a year and not to many were made in that year on top of that. you will loose your tone but thats kinda the point with this pedal. youll get a thicker warmer tone. ok so my set up fender jazzmaster reissue(modded with various stuff) fender tuner whammy 4 boss hyper fuzz ibanez bc 9 guyatone mc 3 mxr doubleshot visual sound jekyll and hyde boss rv 3 dod milkbox nano stone ibanez fl 9 dod stereo reverb boss dd 6 fender hot rod deville think of this pedal as an analog doubler but not quite that either. something still different. its a great way to get the most out of your digital delay for sure. it is noisy, you hear the air but all analog pedals do that of full sttings which is the one i am enjoying at the moment. like i said though bubtle when compared to digital but still incredible.
Reliability/Durability:
im gonna gig with it but watch my board like a hawk. its as reliable as a analog pedal can be. the switch sucks but all dod switches suck its why you can get the cool ones soo cheap. haha no backup as i will most likely not see one again for a long time. oh be prepared to possibly need to adjust the pot internally. it only takes about 5 mintues but they can be off sometimes.
Ease of Use:
ok since i will most likely be one of the few only people to review this pedal this decade! im gonna try to give the best review possible. this pedal is quite possibly the rarest dod pedal there is. to my knowledge there isnt a more rare one. it is easy to get a good sound if its what your looking for. if you want hall forget it. thats not what this pedal is for. its ment to be from what i can tell the best possible analog simulation of a spring reverb. but falls somewhere between a plate and spring sound yet still not quite that cause you can here the sweep of the 5 echoes that give you the simulation of the reverb.

Overall Rating:
all and all its a tone nerds dream. if you find one get it, and be willing to loose a pocketful of cash there not cheap and the demand way outways the value so you might end up paying quite a bit for one. i just got lucky. id love another but if this one breaks or gets stolen im most likely s.o.l. i wish it had a better echo but like i said i still might get an echo pedal. wasnt what i expected but still really cool. to be honest im not sure ive ever heard one used before. so if you find one get it if you can. you wont be disapointed. i wasnt.

Ease of Use:
this is one of the more rare dod PEDALS AND ONE OF THE MORE better sounding ones i just love it i use it with my vox cambridge with does not have reverb built in its real easy to dial in lush reverb sound hell i can get a limp bizkit take a look around into sound
Customer Support:
dod has the best cumstomer care out of the big3 and i mean by the big 3 as boss ibanez dod
Overall Rating:
i finnaly scored one of these on ebay for a good price i seen pedal dealers sell the for 145 cause they say its it the most rare dod pedal out i dont know if thats true but the reverb on this unit is awesome dod should thing about coming out with another one i think it could give eh holy grail a run for the money but the dod cant quite get a fender or vox spring reverb sound it more lushy delay rooom reverb sound
