Silly Silicon

I have a '62 Re-issue strat, Peavey Classic 212 Boss Tuner----->Diceworks HS1----->keeley comp---->keeley Java Boost---->keeley DS-1 Ultra----->analogmanTS9 Silver mod----->(silicon to be named later, getting monsterpiece PNP next week)----->analogman Bi-Chorus------>RMC3 Wah----->MGMusic That's Echo Folks w/pigtails in a furman SPB-8 I can't get one useful or musical sound out of this thing. I don't think the engineer (Dave) actually plays guitar, cuz if he had ears...I know that his other boxes get great reviews but, this was a clunker. Speaking of boxes, the enclosure is HUGE. I mean, 3/4 the size of a LARGE brick. Not practical for the musician with a crowded pedalboard. The input and output jacks are cheapies, and small, and considering the size of the box, it's a visual double take (not a good one). The pictures on ebay are decieving.

I am deciding if I should put it in the closet, use it as the first brick in a wall that covers crappy pedals, or just throw it away, so I will never get the chance to find out how reliable it is, but, I can't see anything short of nuclear war damaging this armour plated vehicle.

3 knobs fuzz bite level

purchased on ebay new, (what can I say, I'm a gambler like that), paid immediatly, after 14 days (supposed to be 5 day overseas delivery) I messeged him, and he replied that it went out yesterday, cuz he had to get transistors he liked. (These were them???) 23 days after I paid for it on ebay, I got it in the mail. What a let down. Gave him a neutral rating, as I believe 2 weeks of no response is too much. he did likewise and called me a poor ebayer. Not what I expect out of my ebay experience. Would NEVER do biz with him again

I've been playing for 35 years, and still gig at least 2x a week. (clubs, no bowties) I do all request all night. anything from the 50's to 3 years ago ('cept Jimmy Buffet, Eagles and Van Morrison). From Bill Haley to Snoop Dogg. Chuck Berry to Pantera. I'm nutty that way, so I need the right sounds available to me. I'm in search of a useable, woody, gorgeous woman sounding, silicon fuzz that hits the hairs on the back of my neck from it's tones...this aint it.
