  • Win an EVH Wolfgang from Peavey

    By Guest |

Peavey Electronics has launched the redesigned PEAVEY.COM, to allow consumers to combine the best aspects of buying from the Internet and from a dealer, plus offering a chance to win one of 12 Wolfgang guitars.

"When we launched PEAVEY.COM in 1995, we recognized that the Internet was going to quickly become the consumer's preferred method for purchasing products," explains Hartley Peavey, founder and CEO of Peavey Electronics. "However, this meant cutting out the dealer and a lot of added value. This didn't fit into our basic business philosophy. Peavey dealers are an integral part of our operation. They foster long-term relationships with our customers by providing them with extensive product knowledge and excellent service. It was important for our company to take the time to develop an e-commerce solution that honored our dealer relationships while providing our customers with the purchasing options of the Internet."

To celebrate the launch of the redesigned Web site, Peavey Electronics is giving away 12 Wolfgang series guitars to visitors who register at www.peavey.com. Created in collaboration with rock legend, and Peavey endorsee, Edward Van Halen, Peavey.Com allows current and prospective customers of Peavey's Wolfgang series guitars to walk through a simple, step-by-step process of building, pricing and viewing their completed custom-configured instruments online and in real time. At the end of the process, consumers can order their custom guitar through their nearest Peavey dealer's site.

For the redesigned site, Peavey developed custom, proprietary software to execute the desired e-commerce solution offering consumers "anytime, anywhere" access to the company's full line of musical instruments and accessories--without removing the dealer from the purchasing equation. Once you find the product you want on PEAVEY.COM, entering your zip code provides you with links to the three nearest dealer locations. All transactions are protected by encryption technology and guarantee no spamming.
