Win a Custom Guitar from Yamaha

Yamaha Guitars announces the opportunity for one winner to be flown to world-famous Hollywood, CA, and create their very own Yamaha custom guitar, and all you need to do is try out one of their digital amps.

The rules for the contest are simple: walk into a participating retail store, try out a Yamaha DG Series amplifier (DG60, DG80, DG100, DG130H, or DG1000), fill out an entry form and send it in. The winner will be flown to Hollywood where they will be able to custom create their own Yamaha guitar choosing the woods, pick-ups and inlays, at a combined value of $5,000. There is no purchase necessary. The contest began on July 1, 1999, and all entries must be received at Yamaha no later than January 15, 2000. The winner of the contest will be announced during a random drawing on February 5 at Winter NAMM 2000. See the complete contest rules.

During this promotion period, Yamaha is offering a FREE Danelectro chorus pedal with the purchase of any Yamaha DG amplifier. Purchasers must mail the sales receipt as proof of purchase to Yamaha with their mailing address to receive the pedal.
