Classic 1176 'Blue Stripe' and 'Blackface' modes

SPRING HILL, PA (Dec 9, 2016) - With a truly revolutionary design approach, Serpent Audio has engineered the unique features of their Splice MkII compressor into a single slot 500 Series module. The Splice SA76-500 is an 1176-style FET compressor that offers the choice between "Blue Stripe" or "Blackface" 1176 circuitry on the input and output stages separately - in effect, splicing the two modes together.
A 'one of a kind' module, the Splice SA76-500 also provides an "All Buttons In" SLAM mode, integrated high pass sidechain filter and a 'Blend' control for parallel compression techniques. In addition, a selectable 600R Output loading allows the user to easily optimize the module for use with both vintage and modern equipment.

The Splice SA76-500 module, along with the popular SB4001 Stereo Buss Compressor and the Chimera Opto Compressor, adds incredible flexibility and creativity to 500 Series processing.
