Wharfedale Pro has announced the newest addition to their expanding range of installation loudspeakers. The Diva 6 is a stylish and subtle surface mount installation loudspeaker. PR Manager Ryan McKenna commented “The Diva 6 is a great product that will have immediate impact in the installation sector. Style conscious environments will benefit from its impressive feature list, clever mounting system and stunning aesthetics.”

The distinctive spheroid ported cabinet eliminates internal standing waves improving efficiency and low frequency output. The Diva 6 is available in a black or white enclosure that can be painted to match any decor, enhancing its suitability for environments where both appearance and sound quality are critical.

Mike Mayne, IAG Professional Product Manager stated “The proprietary mounting system makes installation effortless. Once the mounting is attached to the wall the speaker is easily attached by pushing it onto a spring loaded latch. At this stage your hands are now free to make the wiring connections and angle adjustments. 120° x 90° of pan and tilt are available to ensure accurate positioning for perfect coverage. A single hex nut is used to lock the mechanism, ensuring that the speaker stays in the correct position.”

Based on a 2-way co-axial design the Diva 6 uses a 6” custom Wharfedale Pro transducer with a 2” diaphragm, 1.2” exit titanium compression driver on a coaxially mounted waveguide. The Diva 6 has a very wide frequency response of

60Hz-20kHz and is capable of 108dB SPL @ 1m.

A 70.7 / 100 volt line matching transformer ensures impedance matched connectivity with your high impedance amplifier or external line transformer. The

70.7 power tap has 6.25W, 12.5W, 25W and 50W settings while the 100 volt power tap has 12.5W, 25W and 50W settings. A low impedance (8Ω) setting allows connectivity to a low impedance amplifier, giving you 140W of continuous program output per Diva 6.
