WAVES LTD., supplier of DSP software for the professional audio and multimedia markets, debuted the Renaissance Reverberator at the 109th Audio Engineering Society (AES) Convention in Los Angeles on September 22. The Renaissance Reverberator is the third in the Renaissance series of audio processors, preceded by the Renaissance Compressor and the Renaissance EQ, for TDM formats and Native formats including RTAS, Audiosuite, VST, DirectX, and MAS. The Renaissance Collection (which includes all three processors) is a series of high end digital processors that recreate the warm sound qualities and simple operation of classic hardware in the digital domain.

Designed to be musical, not technical, Renaissance processors have clean and simple interfaces that are ultra functional with minimal clutter. The Renaissance Reverberator is the newest addition to the series, and is as easy to use as any classic processor with just a few straightforward controls and simple interfaces. It features rich reverb tails, plus a second generation early reflection system, providing density and texture. The Renaissance Reverberator is available in the Waves Gold TDM package, Waves Gold Native package (RTAS, Audiosuite, VST, DirectX, and MAS) and Renaissance Collection for TDM and Native (RTAS, Audiosuite, VST, DirectX, and MAS).

    Features:

    • Highest quality essential tools
    • Challenge/response copy protection scheme (no more dongle)
    • 88.2/96 kHz support for many NATIVE platforms
    • No Compromise in sound, interface, or performance

The Renaissance Collection is comprised of:

    • Renaissance Compressor (now 56 bit dithered for TDM users)
    • Renaissance Equalizer (now 48 bit dithered to 24 bit output for TDM users)
    • Renaissance Reverberator (NEW)
