vPedal Introduces QWO / vP-4 ~ The World’s First “Wireless Mag-Switch” Transcription Foot Pedal

Used in conjunction  with the free vPedal hot key application on a pc or with the free vPedal Omni  application on OSX you can send hotkey commands to any application / sequencer  that has hotkeys.

vPedal today introduced QWO, the first Foot Pedal to use vPedals revolutionary Wireless Mag-Switch technology. In development for over 2 years, QWO allows for the creation of a clean, cable-free workstation. QWO is the premium product in the vPedal range and will be available at just (RRP) USD$150.

The acronym QWO stands for Quiet Wireless Operation:

Quiet: uses magnets instead of mechanical switches to eliminate switch activation noise.

Wireless: the inbuilt wireless transmitter has a range of up to 3 meters and is powered by three AA batteries. To extend battery performance, QWO includes a power management system that switches into low power mode during periods of inactivity.

Operation: has been tested on both PCs / Macs and is compatible with all the current operating systems on both platforms plus it has past FCC + CE certification .

QWO will be available now through the vPedal Store (www.vpedal.com), at vPedal Authorized Resellers for a suggested retail price of $150 (US).
