Tunecore Launches Upgrades To Make Music Available Faster

TuneCore has made several improvements to its service that will enable artists' music to go live more quickly at digital retail, be categorized more accurately and show up in more searches.

· Bulk upload upgrade: An upgrade to TuneCore's bulk upload tool gives all TuneCore customers the ability to quickly and simultaneously upload up to 20 songs at once.

· Faster delivery times: TuneCore Artists are having their music delivered to digital stores like iTunes, Amazon MP3 and more faster than ever before. The new and improved TuneCore delivery system now delivers TuneCore Artist's releases to iTunes, Amazon MP3 and others within five minutes and twelve seconds upon checkout. At the moment, most TuneCore Artist's albums, singles, EPs or ringtones go live on iTunes in less than 24 hours.

· New iTunes genres: Seven additional iTunes genres were added for artists to select from: Heavy Metal, J-Pop, K-Pop, Singer/Songwriter, Big Band, Fitness & Workout and Instrumental.

· Multiple creatives: With the new "multiple creatives" feature, TuneCore artists can now also enter guest artists, musicians and featured players on each song when uploading. The TuneCore system will deliver the information to the exact specifications required by iTunes, allowing the songs and releases to be discovered and displayed via the iTunes search engine.
