ToneWorks introduces the Pandora PX4B Bass Personal Multi-Effects Processor. Designed especially for bass guitar, the PX4B incorporates Korg's proprietary REMS (Resonant Electronic Modeling System) technology, and features 122 high-quality effects, 100 realistic PCM rhythm patterns and fills, 100 programs (50 preset/50 editable user), a Phrase Trainer, and a host of extras, all in a compact, easy-to-use format.

Ideal for recording, practice, composition or live performance situations, the PX4B offers bass amplifier models that range from vintage to modern. Players can utilize the PX4B's Amp Dial for selecting any of the 10 bass amps, or for accessing the onboard Bass Synth. Each of the amp model presets can also be used in conjunction with the PX4B's Cabinet effect models, which offer user-selectable speaker configurations (10", 12", 15", and 18").

The PX4B comes with many compressor/limiter, modulation-type and ambience-type effects, plus unique effects such as filter-type auto wah and a ring modulation that changes in response to your picking. Up to seven effects can be used simultaneously, including a fretless bass effect, and a newly developed feedback effect.

100 programs (50 preset/50 editable user) are available for immediate use. Included is a special set of programs created by legendary bassist and long-time Pandora user Stu Hamm. In addition, there are 100 built-in PCM rhythm patterns covering many genres of music (eight rhythm patterns can be chained together), a tap button for setting Delay or Rhythm tempo, and a built-in metronome.

The PX4B also has a powerful Phrase Trainer that allows up to 32 seconds of audio to be recorded from a CD or other audio source via the AUX IN jack, which then can be played back as a loop, and either slowed down or sped up (without pitch change) for repeated listening or practice. In addition, the PX4B's Bass Canceller function allows the bass line to be extracted from the recorded song for jamming in real-time.

The PX4B utilizes convenient knob-based controls for selecting or fine-tuning a sound, and an infrared transmitter allows the use of optional infrared wireless headphones for private practice. Additional features include: a Key Transpose function; built-in Korg Auto Chromatic Tuner with mute function; semi-transparent backlit LCD for exceptional visibility of effect/program names and functions (represented as icons for easy recognition); a built-in strap holder. The ultra-compact PX4B measures 2.99" x 4.41" x 1.06" and can be powered by either four AAA batteries (up to 10 hours of continual use), or by the optional 4.5V adapter.

The ToneWorks Pandora PX4B is available currently with a suggested retail price of $275.
