Three Sonnox Fraunhofer Pro-Codec Plug-ins To Be Won

OXFORD, UK: To mark the introduction of its new Fraunhofer Pro-Codec  plug-in, Sonnox has announced a fun competition on Facebook, where three  Pro-Codec’s will be awarded on September 1st !

Following a  lengthy collaboration with mp3 creator Fraunhofer IIS, the resulting  Pro-Codec software introduces real-time auditioning, encoding and  decoding of audio, using Fraunhofer’s professional codecs, within a DAW  environment.

“The Pro-Codec represents a huge advance in  enabling engineers to precisely audition codecs in real time,” explains  Sonnox Sales & Marketing Manager, Nathan Eames. “It’s now possible  to make highly informed mix decisions with the knowledge of exactly how  it will sound when encoded to various different formats.”
