Three New Models Added to Alvarez-Yairi's Traditional Series

Alvarez Yairi has announced the introduction of three new models to their Traditional series, each handcrafted in the shop of luthier Kazuo Yairi.

The Alvarez Yairi DY40BK ( $1349.00 list) dreadnought acoustic guitar features an air dried AAA grade solid North American spruce top utilizing Yairi's hand shaped X bracing, matched to mahogany back and sides with a high gloss black finish. The mahogany neck features an ebony fingerboard with white pearl inlaid at the 12th fret position marker. The ebony direct coupled bridge offers a unique visual identity and more efficient transfer of string vibration to the top than conventional bridge designs. White pearl is inlaid into the headstock and around the soundhole rosette, complimenting the high gloss black finish.

The Alvarez Yairi DY40SB ($1349.00 list) dreadnought guitar shares the same features as the DY40BK in a three tone sunburst finish.

The Alvarez Yairi DY40CBK ($1799.00) dreadnought guitar shares the same features as the DY40BK with the addition of a rounded cutaway, for easy access to the upper frets, and an Alvarez System 600T preamp system.

The Alvarez System 600T preamp system was designed to offer the finest acoustic guitar tone reproduction available. The System 600T provides a broad range of sonic control and mixing capability allowing the player to utilize different combinations of piezo, magnetic, microphone transducers, and features the convenience of an on-board digital chromatic tuner.
