Yamaha continues to expand on the BB Series electric bass guitar line with the Winter NAMM 2003 debut of three models: the left-handed BB404L 4-String and BB405L 5-string, and the BB404F 4-String Fretless Bass. Designed in conjunction with bass legend and Yamaha artist Nathan East, these new additions live up to the superior design, manufacturing quality and superb sound that are the hallmarks of the series.

"We expect these new instruments to deliver exactly what the definitive bass player is looking for," states Joseph Brasler, marketing manager, Yamaha Guitars. "These new models really round out the BB Series by providing instruments for a specific customer--be it the 'southpaw' musician or a player looking for an affordable fretless as a first or second instrument."

The left-handed BB404L (MSRP $599.99) and BB405L (MSRP $729.99) feature a Nathan East sculpted body design with a Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard and 24 frets. The solid Alder body houses dual Humbucking pickups and is available in Black and Natural finishes.

The BB404F (MSRP $599.99) fretless features a Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard with a solid Alder body and Diecast Chrome Tuners/Hardware.

All models are currently available and include the Yamaha Limited Lifetime Warranty.
