TheAirtightGarage annouced the release of the Betsy, a 5F6A-based combo guitar amplifier and recreation of the classic Bassman design.

Modeled specifically after the 1959 Bassman, the Betsy features the same power, output, and choke as the original. On the top-mounted control panel you'll find two bright and two normal inputs, volume control for each input, as well as controls for bass, mid, treble, and presence. Betsy comes loaded with four Jensen P10R speakers, with the option of bells or no bells on the bottom pair. Inside the amp you'll find a 12AY7, a pair of 12AX7s, two 5881 or 6L6 power tubes, and a GZ34 rectifier.

The cabinet is constructed with solid wood and fingerjoint edges. A leather handle and bronze faceplate are standard, with the option to add an original Fender handle and faceplate.

The Betsy in standard form will cost $1800. Optional upgrades are available, and a "ultimate" version, the Tonebuster, sells for $2300. TheAirtightGarage also offers the Cool Stool, built to your measurements for comfortable guitar playing.
