Ploytec GmbH/ ism/ Germany (March 13th, 2017) (ictw) – Ploytec, the audio specialists from southern Germany and intelligent sound & music, the Cologne based plug-in experts, just released their newly developed audio tool Aroma.

Aroma helps to put analog character & charm into audio recordings in an unprecedented musical way. Four valve or tape like processing units, called Salt, Pepper, Sugar and Chili, add elegance to any audio material.

Primarily designed for mastering, Aroma also shapes the character of vocal and instrument recordings. Individual flavor controls allow to adjust a wide variety of beauty, warmth and attractiveness. Aroma's additional Mid/Side processing option allows for fine tuning the stereo base.

Aroma's salt effect features an adjustable structure of even and odd order harmonics. Pepper focuses on odd order harmonics and offers a variety of musical colors. Sugar adds sweetness and fatness in the style of analog tape. Chili is described to make recordings "hot as hell and delicious as heaven”.

    Pricing and availability

    About Ploytec GmbH:

Markus Medau, a developer and keyboard player with the Berlin band Edit_H, born in 1972, joined forces in 1999 with Werner Wirsum, an information scientist born in 1968, to develop USB ASIO drivers. It all began with Cubase, a computer, and the lack of an audio input. Reputable manufacturers soon secured licenses (Apogee, SoundDevices, TerraTec, and Yamaha, later followed by Access, Alesis, Lexicon, Numark, Steinberg, Tascam and others). Kicking off their hardware business in early 2004 with the founding of Ploytec GmbH, the entrepreneurs are now busy developing USB2.0 / USB3.0 audio hardware and software. www.ploytech.com
