  • TA-500DP Full-Range Loudspeaker

    By Guest |

Building on the success of the award-winning Aspect® modular point-source loudspeaker system at major festivals and concert tours this summer, the 123rd AES Convention sees Turbosound showing its TA-500DP self-powered, three-way, full-range loudspeaker with onboard, user-adjustable DSP at New York's Javits Center from October 5th to 8th.

First seen in the U.S. at InfoComm this summer, the TA-500 series is available in a variety of horizontal and vertical orientations and powered or non-powered formats. Aimed at both touring applications—with its integrated flyware—and fixed installations, the TA-500's patented Polyhorn™ devices ensure seamless arrayability over a tightly focused 50°H x 25°V coverage pattern.

The TA-500 has been nominated for a TEC Award this year in recognition of Turbosound's commitment to furthering point-source technology and the ground-breaking development of the Polyhorn's vastly improved dispersion characteristics.

Additionally, Turbosound will feature its NuQ series of networkable self-powered loudspeakers. Comprising efficient Class-D amplifiers using 96kHz sample rates for pristine audio quality, the NuQ series offers consistently outstanding performance and real-time network control.
