T-RackS Coming in Multiple Plug-In Formats

To coincide with the forthcoming winter NAMM show, IK Multimedia is pleased to announce the launch of T-RackS RTAS plug-in for Digidesign ProTools systems.

T-RackS is analog-modeled mastering software available as a ProTools plug-in, constructed with actual physical models of tube circuitry. It offers a complete suite of plug-ins comprising of 5 discrete processors:

• A state-of-the-art six band parametric EQ
• A classic stereo tube Compressor
• A multiband master stereo Limiter
• A Soft-Clipping stage
• A complete mastering suite made of EQ, Compressor, Limiter and Soft Clipping stage

With its 5 separate processors, astonishing warmth and ease-of-use, T-RackS is able to add a polish to audio tracks that has never been possible before. It can vastly enhance mix frequencies, broaden the stereo image as well as boost or level the dynamic range. All of this, while adding the warmth and space of the tube-devices it emulates.

• Analog-modeled Equalizer, Compressor, Limiter and the Soft-clipping output stage,

• High Order 32 bit Internal Resolution: with 32 Bit floating point resolution, T-RackS uses the best possible method for physically modeling analog components, resulting in an amazingly real tube sound.

• Ease of Use. T-RackS is so easy to use because its interface resembles a typical rack of hardware with analog controls.

Pricing and Availability

T-RackS RTAS plug-in will be priced $399 and will be available starting from January 2002.

An HTDM and a VST version of T-RackS plug-in are also expected to be available by the second quarter 2002.
