Stagegear™ Unveils Its 2008 Lineup of 'Next Generation' Road Cases

Stagegear™ Inc.today announced the release of the category's most advanced line of new products. The launch — internally dubbed The 411 Series — represents a true departure from the traditional industry approach to designing road cases and offers customers some of the most frequently requested features, most of which appear in this product segment for the first time anywhere.

According to company President, Bob Blackhurst, the line began with the belief that the time had come to advance the road case industry into the 21st century. "We knew that the major case manufacturers hadn't really evolved alongside the changing needs and expectations of its customers", said Blackhurst. "New technologies and manufacturing techniques have now made it possible to build a far better road case than ever before, but no other company was fully utilizing those techniques. Standard features now include Stagegear's all-new EverRoll™ casters, incorporating sealed precision bearings that provide far less rolling resistance and greatly improved lifespan. Every case the company builds is now constructed of 9, 11 or 13-ply European Birch that provides the greatest strength of any standard road case built today. In addition, Stagegear is the only case designer to offer customers a choice of three exterior finishes that perfectly match the exact requirements they have for durability. This feature, combined with the company's exclusive use of countersunk and recessed hardware throughout, greatly reduces the risk that cases will damage each other in tight truck pack situations . The result is less scratching and blemishing of the case exteriors and a much better looking case overall for years longer than competitive models.

Also new and exclusive to this year's lineup is Stagegear's LightHouse™ interior lighting system that incorporates a state-of-the-art, high output LED strip to light the case interior with just the simple flip of a switch.
