Stagegear™ Inc.today announced the release of the category's most advanced line of new products. The launch — internally dubbed The 411 Series — represents a true departure from the traditional industry approach to designing road cases and offers customers some of the most frequently requested features, most of which appear in this product segment for the first time anywhere.
According to company President, Bob Blackhurst, the line began with the belief that the time had come to advance the road case industry into the 21st century. "We knew that the major case manufacturers hadn't really evolved alongside the changing needs and expectations of its customers", said Blackhurst. "New technologies and manufacturing techniques have now made it possible to build a far better road case than ever before, but no other company was fully utilizing those techniques. We saw this as an opportunity that could significantly change our customer's life on the road for the better. "
The new line incorporates many highly innovative upgrades that raise the performance bar for the entire business segment. Standard features now include Stagegear's all-new EverRoll™ casters, incorporating sealed precision bearings that provide far less rolling resistance and greatly improved lifespan. Every case the company builds is now constructed of 9, 11 or 13-ply European Birch that provides the greatest strength of any standard road case built today. In addition, Stagegear is the only case designer to offer customers a choice of three exterior finishes that perfectly match the exact requirements they have for durability. This feature, combined with the company's exclusive use of countersunk and recessed hardware throughout, greatly reduces the risk that cases will damage each other in tight truck pack situations . The result is less scratching and blemishing of the case exteriors and a much better looking case overall for years longer than competitive models.
Also new and exclusive to this year's lineup is Stagegear's LightHouse™ interior lighting system that incorporates a state-of-the-art, high output LED strip to light the case interior with just the simple flip of a switch. Anyone who has ever tried to distinguish the blue tape from the red or find the right connector in a dark backstage environment will greatly appreciate this latest advance.
"Our company was born on the road — not in an office building — and that is where we still focus our product development activities", said Blackhurst. "I spent more than a decade of my early career touring and discovering all of the things that road cases didn't do to help make my life on the road more successful. It makes me very proud that our new lines address so many of these deficiencies, making them a real advancement for all of our present and future Stagegear customers."
Along with this extraordinary level of standard features, Stagegear customers can further customize their cases to match their needs even more precisely.
In addition, every Stagegear case leaves the factory only following a hand-checked, 21-point quality assurance process carried out by a single technician, who signs and affixes their approval to the inside of every case before it leaves the factory.
The all-new lineup of Stagegear cases can be ordered now.
